In 1991, he was chosen as the cover artist for “Pops by the Sea,” featuring the Boston Pops Orchestra. During that same year, the Cape Cod Symphony chose him to be the cover artist for “Pops in the Park.”  In 1992, in concert with Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts and the John Hancock Company in Boston, Geoff was commissioned to paint a series of works, including the Boston Marathon, Tall Ships, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra with Serji Ozawa. This engagement lasted for a period of two years.


In 1994, Northeastern University’s “Sport and Society” program selected his painting of Muhammad Ali to present to the boxing legend at its annual gala honoring Ali as its first inductee.  He was commissioned in 1995 by Bay Bank, as sponsor for Boston’s Head of the Charles Regatta and in 1999 was commissioned to cover and paint a series of pieces on The U.S. Ryder Cup, held at The Country Club, in Newton, Massachusetts.   In 2001, Geoff’s painting of the U.S. Open Golf Championship at Bethpage Black was chosen for the cover of the book, "Fine Art of America’s Fairways."
